While on a trip to the Bahamas, it is almost impossible to run out of things to do on the beautiful islands. From the best of luxury to a variety of adventure activities there is something to do. The myriad of resort chains add on to the itinerary of the trip too. However, while you’re there, there are certain things that you should not miss, and we have put together a list of Things to do in Bahamas that you have to try while you’re there.



1. Bask in the beauty of the Pink sand beach: The pink sand beaches give off a serene vibe and are a beautiful sight to visit while in the Bahamas. The unique quality of the pink coloured sand is the most attractive feature that causes an overflow of tourists at any point of the year, wandering the area for the perfect picture.


2. Swim with the dolphins: Away from the comfort and luxury of the cozy at Hotels and Resorts present on the island is an experience that unparalleled by any other. The beautiful Caribbean waters are home to some of the friendliest marine animals in the world, the Dolphins. While visiting the exotic paradise don’t miss out on a chance to take swim with these adorable creatures and catch a selfie with their warm smiles.


3. Soiree at the Paradise Atlantis Islands: A gem in the crown of the Atlantis Hotel chains, this resort holds up the grand name of the popular chain. Complete with a variety of water slides and acres of land facilitating several other activities, this island has proven to be a beautiful way to spend a hot summer day.


4. Go on a shopping spree at the Port Lucaya Marketplace: While you’re at Freeport, the chances of you missing this popular marketplace are slim. It has several shops and boutiques that sell a variety of items from local straw crafts and several other art pieces. Walk around the place and try out some of the many food stalls and unique food items available here. If you stick around till the night you may even enjoy some of the typical Bahamian nightlife accompanied by live shows or DJ gigs that will knock your socks off.


5. Visit Castaway Cay: Leased by Disney studios and curated under their discretion, this cay is home to a lot of popular Disney artefacts, including the infamous Flying Dutchman. Walk around or cycle around the 1000 acre land and take in all that the place has to offer.
